Our services

Welcome to our CAMHS service website.

CAMHS stands for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services – our teams focus on the needs of children and young people and their families. They offer help with emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties.

Our teams are based in local clinics and also we have hospital wards for children and young people who need more intensive support and treatment. Our staff will work with you to help young people and their families to find ways to cope with these stressful emotions and situations. We do this with psychological therapies, parenting skills and medication if needed.

If you are referred to one of our services you might be anxious. Hopefully the information on these pages will help to explain what happens, who you might see and how we can help.
