Trust Board meetings
The Trust Board meets in public on the second Thursday of every other month. This meeting is open to members of the public and all staff and we always have time for questions. Come along and be a part of the meeting.
If you have a disability and need help to come to meetings or have any questions, contact us in advance on 020 3513 6385 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The venue is usually Conference Room G, Building 32 (the new modular building near the Burntwood Lane entrance) Springfield Hospital, London SW17 7DJ.
The agenda, board papers and minutes of these meetings are posted on the Trust website as they become available.
Important information regarding Board meetings in public during the COVID-19 pandemic
In light of the restrictions introduced by the Government to limit the spread of COVID-19, the Trust Board will – as a temporary measure – hold its meetings virtually in the coming months. Regrettably, face-to-face meetings involving members of the public cannot take place in light of the restrictions. During this period of heightened pressure on NHS Trusts, agendas for our Board meetings will also be streamlined to the most critical business.
The Trust is committed to maintaining transparency and accountability to the public during this period. As a result, we will continue to publish the papers for our public Board meeting on our website. We will welcome questions from the public submitted at least 24 hours before the meeting to email@example.com
As soon as possible following our Board meetings, we will publish to our website a summary of key decisions and actions agreed by the Board, along with the answers to any questions from members of the public. While we recognise that this doesn’t make up for the fact that the public will not be able to come along to our meetings, we hope this enables you to continue to see how the Board is taking decisions at this critical time.
Given the uncertainty as to how long the current restrictions will be required, the position set out above will remain in place until further notice. However, we look forward to welcoming back members of the public to our Board meetings as soon as the necessary steps to limit the transmission of COVID-19 are lifted.
Forthcoming Dates 2020
14th May 2020
Please note: Temporary restriction of vehicular access via Burntwood Lane
From 30 March 2020, there will be no vehicular access through the site or access to car parks from Burntwood Lane. This is due to work starting on the section of road between West Wing, (Trust HQ, Building 15) and Building 32 (Recovery College, Canteen and Conference Centre). Therefore this section of road will be closed to vehicular traffic for approximately six months.
Vehicular access to Ronald Gibson House, Ghodse and High Trees will be via Burntwood Lane only. All other buildings including Car Park B will only have vehicular access via the Glenburnie Road entrance.
The bus stop will remain where it is allowing patients to attend appointments via public transport and pedestrian access will still be retained.
We appreciate that these changes can be frustrating and we apologise for the inconvenience but as we are sure you can appreciate these are essential infrastructure works that need to be completed to enable the new development.
