Specialist Learning Disabilities CAMHS
Our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) help young people who are experiencing mental health issues.
These services are provided in community locations as well as in our inpatient wards (Aquarius, Wisteria and Corner House) based at Springfield Hospital.

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Learning Disability Service
CAMHS Learning Disability service is a Tier 3 service providing specialist assessment and treatment for Children and Young People who have moderate to profound Learning Disability and present with mental health needs and/or challenging behaviour.
CAMHS Learning Disability service offers a range of treatments and assessments for children and young people experiencing mental and physical health problems or presenting with behaviour that challenges those around them. Where appropriate, combinations of approaches are used within a multi-disciplinary framework, in line with the young person's needs and goals as agreed with the family through a care planning approach.
The service has been providing a service to children and young people in the boroughs of Wandsworth, Sutton and Merton and are developing to cover the boroughs of Kingston and Richmond.
Referrals are received from health, social and educational providers. All referrals should be sent to Camhsldreferrals@swlstg.nhs.uk on our team referral form
