To mark Mental Health Awareness week this year the College has approached the Charity BLAM (black learning achievement and mental health) to run an evening seminar on the impact of youth violence.

The session is open to all, with panelists ranging from a SEN Children specialist, to a Youth Offending Team Worker and a Social Activist.

When: Thursday 17h May, 7pm-8.30pm

Where: Recovery College, Building 28, Springfield Hospital

The aim of the event is to exchange ideas in tackling the trauma associated with youth violence - what support exists now and new ways to potentially approach the issue. If this is a topic that appeals to you then please do come along. The evening starts at 7pm and finishes at 8.30 with light refreshments available on the night. We hope to see you there.
