South West London and St. George’s Mental Health NHS Trust (SWLSTG), which provides national and local mental health services across Richmond, Kingston, Sutton, Merton and Wandsworth, is pleased to welcome Juliet Armstrong  as its newest  non executive director.

Our Contact Centre is the first point of contact for service users, carers, families and other external callers.

Many of you have told us that the service needs to be improved and as a result of your feedback we are making improvements. Each year we run our digital photography competition #upliftingimage which is open to everyone living across our five boroughs - Sutton, Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Wandsworth. 

The Trust is proud to announce that our innovative Lotus Assessment Suite, led by Ward Manager Stefanie Looker, has been named Regional Champion for the ‘Excellence in Healthcare’ Award in the NHS Parliamentary Awards 2019.

On Wednesday, 3 July South West London and St. George’s Mental Health NHS Trust welcomed over 950 people to the annual summer Trust BBQ celebration as part of our Making Life Better Together programme.

A new road is being created to link with Glenburnie Road, called Springfield Drive, which will eventually service the new hospital.

South West London and St. George’s Mental Health NHS Trust (SWLSTG) is glad to announce that we have selected five new strategic community partners across South West London. Our new partners will work with the Trust to deliver four mental health awareness events in local communities over the next year and will aid in the delivery of key mental health initiatives.

A huge thank you to all service users and carers that attended an ‘In Your Shoes’ session during our Creating Our Culture Week (29 April - 3 May 2019).

We are pleased to welcome Vik Sagar  as a Non Executive Director on the Trust Board.

Vik Sagar is a Chartered Accountant who started his career in the Corporate Finance department of Ernst & Young and has been serving as an Associate Non Executive Director on the Board since November 2017. 

The Trust has been working with Summerstown182, a local award-winning community history project in Tooting to showcase and capture images of our historic Springfield site prior to beginning our redevelopment of the estate later this year to deliver two new mental health hospitals.

Leading mental health Chief Executive David Bradley has announced today (4 April 2019) that he is to take on the Chief Executive role at South London and Maudsley Mental Health Trust after several successful years at the helm of South West London and St. George’s Mental Health NHS Trust (SWLSTG).

From 1 April 2019, specialist health services for people with a learning disability in Wandsworth will be provided by South West London and St George’s Mental Health Trust.

As you may be aware, we have been working to deliver first class modern mental healthcare facilities on our Springfield site. The programme, named the Estate Modernisation Programme (EMP) will deliver new hospital buildings in a community and parkland setting.
