Trust hosts Exercise Professionals for Mental Health Conference

South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust will host the second Exercise Professionals for Mental Health (EPMH) conference which will be attended by mental health specialists from a variety of professions on the importance of exercise for patients.

Water Shutdown – Springfield site

The Estates and Facilities team would like to make you aware there will be two water shutdowns on Wednesday 25 September and Thursday 26 September.

The team have been working hard to reduce the disruption and therefore will be undertaking the necessary work in two stages, the first stage affecting hot water only.

October Mental Health Month 2019

Every year the Trust celebrates World Mental Health Day on 10 October to demonstrate our support for challenging stigma and celebrate the month with events across our sites to raise awareness of mental health and to stamp out stigma across south west London. The day provides an opportunity "for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work, and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide". This year's theme set by the World Federation for Mental Health is suicide prevention.

Harewood House – temporary entrances

As part of our plans to build two state-of-the-art hospitals you may notice a number of construction works taking place on our Springfield site. Our teams are working closely with staff and patients to minimise disruption but unfortunately as we move through the development there may be a need to make alterations to the site to enable the works to take place.

Our Contact Centre is the first point of contact for service users, carers, families and other external callers.

Many of you have told us that the service needs to be improved and as a result of your feedback we are making improvements. Today (31 July), we will be switching over to a new software provider and so there may be some disruption as we do so. Please bear with us if you experience any issues.
