On Friday 2 November, more than 100  exercise professionals from more than 35 different trusts and organisations around the country, came together at Springfield Hospital in Tooting, to discuss the importance of physical activity in treating both physical and mental health conditions and the increased recognition for addressing parity of esteem within mental health care.

On Friday, 2 November, South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust announced the winners of the #upliftingimage 2018 digital photography competition.

South West London and St. George's Mental Health Trust (SWLSTG), in partnership with the London Mayor’s Office, is working on a Thrive Mental Health Campaign to help develop specially trained Youth Mental Health First Aiders.

The Trust's Drugs and Therapeutics Committee is in the process of developing the next medicines optimisation strategy, an enabling strategy to the Trusts overarching strategy. We want to work with our stakeholders across South West London (Sutton, Merton, Richmond, Kingston and Wandsworth) to shape the new strategy.

On Friday 19 October, South West London and St George’s Mental Health Trust launched its service user and carer involvement plan.

Mental health nursing across south London is getting a boost thanks to three Trusts joining forces to improve learning and development, and career opportunities. Oxleas, South London and Maudsley, and South West London and St George’s mental health trusts - together serving more than 3.2 million people - have forged the South London Mental Health and Community Partnership (SLP).

The NHS in Sutton (Sutton Clinical Commissioning Group) and the London Borough of Sutton are working together to develop plans for the future of mental health and wellbeing services in Sutton. Mental health services aim to provide support and care for those suffering with mental illness.

South West London and St. George’s Mental Health NHS Trust (SWLSTG), which provides national and local mental health services across Richmond, Kingston, Sutton, Merton and Wandsworth, has today (Thursday 13 September 2018) announced the appointment of Ann Beasley CBE as its new Chair.

On Thursday 6 September, South West London and St George’s Mental Health Trust welcomed Minister Shane Rattenbury, who is the Minister for Mental Health in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Government to learn more about the Trust’s pioneering Recovery College.

Staff from our deaf services visited Indonesia and Bali for two weeks, on a voluntary basis, to find out more about how services are delivered and to deliver workshops and training for the deaf community.

A number of NHS health bodies are being targeted as part of a procurement fraud. This fraud is being directed predominantly at existing suppliers providing goods to the NHS and suppliers not previously used by the NHS health bodies.
