Changes to our car parking facilities

Last year we selected our master developer, STEP, to construct these exciting new facilities and we are delighted to announce that early preparations will be starting on site over the coming months.

As part of this programme you may notice a number of changes on site including:

• Hoarding towards the north of the site
• Temporary signage or relocations of services
• Car parking changes

Car Parking Update

One of the changes affecting patients in early 2019 will be the relocation of some of our car parks on site. In February 2019 Car Parks C, D and E will be closing and spaces re-provided through expanding Car Park B.

There will be a slight reduction in the number of spaces available so to ensure that we have enough spaces for patients and staff who genuinely need their vehicle and to discourage those parking on site who do not use our facilities we will be increasing our car parking charges as follows:

• £3 up to 2 hours
• £5 up to 4 hours
• £10 up to 12 hours
• No return permitted within 2 hours

We are committed to keeping car parking charges low for our patients. Therefore concessions are available so that no service user will pay more than £3 regardless of their length of stay. However, the minimum charge of £3 will always apply. Information on how to access the concessionary charge will be located in all our car parks.

These changes will be implemented on 4 February 2019.
