Find out more about how you can take part in workshops on the development of our community services, webinars and arts sessions marking '12 months to go' to Springfield Village, and consultations on our new digital strategy.

Celebrating '12 months to go'

As we approach November, there are just 12 months until our new mental health facilities at Springfield Hospital are completed and we begin looking ahead to further developments at our sites in Richmond and Kingston.

To mark this milestone we'll be sharing stories from patients, staff and other stakeholders across our channels and holding the following events which we are encouraging people across our communities to get invovled in:

  • On Wednesday 3 November from 1.30pm-2.30 pm arts charity Hospital Rooms and artist Siphiwe Mnguni will lead an art workshop at Springfield Hospital for staff and service users. We will be using collage to create abstract figures from a live model. The session will be an opportunity to take part in something creative, meet the Hospital Rooms team and learn more about the art project taking place at Springfield in 2022. Absolutely no experience in art is necessary and all materials will be provided. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
