Have your say on plans for a brand new 32-acre park in Tooting

Do you live in Tooting? Would you like to help South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust (SWLSTG) design a new public park for local residents?

South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust (SWLSTG) is calling on all local people to help design a new park at the Trust's Springfield University Hospital site in Tooting.

Following on from the previous community consultation in 2012, the Trust is now seeking help to shape the future of Springfield Park, in preparation for a detailed park strategy submission to Wandsworth Council in September.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to open up the historic site and create a new 32 acre park for the whole community.

We will be holding a series of public exhibitions in July - which will give an opportunity to view and comment on the designs at an early stage.

At the public exhibitions you can:

    • View the different options for the park;
    • Have an opportunity to make comments and ask questions
    • Identify issues and topics that should be addressed.

Members of the development team will be on hand to answer any questions on the proposals. The development team will review all comments and feedback and, where possible, will incorporate this feedback into the final park strategy.

The public exhibitions are taking place on:

      • Thursday 9th July 2015 from 2pm to 7pm
      • Friday 10th July 2015 from 8am to 1pm
      • Saturday 11th July 2015 from 10am to 2pm
