International Security Officers Day

International Security Officers Day

24 July marks International Security Officers Day. The date specifically chosen to represent the 24/7 nature of security work, work that provides the reassurance to each and everyone of us to carry out our daily routine with a little less worry.

Even though a single day isn’t enough to acknowledge and thank our security colleagues for the outstanding work they do, to keep us and our service users safe at all hours of the day. 24 July, gives us an opportunity to put our security officers who are often underappreciated a spotlight and allows us to show our gratitude and thanks for their continued hard work. This ISOD we want to make our colleagues who work in the security department across the Trust feel valued and know that their contributions do not go unnoticed. We caught up with some of the Security officers who work across the Trust sites, check out the interviews here.
