The meeting will reflect on the Trust’s achievements and challenges from the past 12 months, before taking an in depth look at the modern new facilities they are developing across south west London.

This includes the new Trinity and Shaftesbury buildings which are soon to open at Springfield Hospital as part of a new 'Springfield Village' and developments ahead at Barnes Hospital in Richmond and Tolworth Hospital in Kingston.

Guest speakers include Dr Jacqui Dyer MBE, President of the Mental Health Foundation, as well as members of Trust staff and service users to understand more about the new environments being developed, their role in breaking stigma and the wider impact they will have for the communities the Trust serves.

The final part of the meeting will involve a Q&A session with the Trust’s Executive Team who will be on hand to answer your questions. Please submit these via the registration form by Thursday 14 July.

Vanessa Ford, Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted to invite our communities to come and hear about the excellent work our teams have been doing, and our exciting plans to ‘make life better together’ for the people we serve.

“We will show you the fantastic new facilities opening at Springfield Hospital and the developments planned for Barnes and Tolworth Hospitals, which are part of our commitment to transform mental health services while reducing inequalities, improving access, and breaking down stigma around mental health.

“There will also be an opportunity to ask questions about the issues that matter most to you, so please do book a place and join us on Thursday.”

The event is being held virtually, however an in-person screening is also being offered at Springfield Hospital. Click here to sign up and look out for the confirmation email.

Upon signing up via the link above, you will receive a confirmation email containing all of the instructions to join the meeting and follow up communications will be shared should you indicate you have any special requirements.
