The Trust's Drugs and Therapeutics Committee is in the process of developing the next medicines optimisation strategy, an enabling strategy to the Trusts overarching strategy. We want to work with our stakeholders across South West London (Sutton, Merton, Richmond, Kingston and Wandsworth) to shape the new strategy.
The use of medicines is the most common healthcare intervention in the NHS. Medicines optimisation is a person-centred approach to safe and effective medicines use, to ensure people obtain the best possible outcomes from their medicines.
e are interested in hearing and including the views of people who use our services, carers, those who work with us, GPs, commissioners and community groups to help develop our strategy around medicines for the organisation over the next 5 years.
