October Mental Health Month 2019

October Mental Health Month 2019

Every year the Trust celebrates World Mental Health Day on 10 October to demonstrate our support for challenging stigma and celebrate the month with events across our sites to raise awareness of mental health and to stamp out stigma across south west London. The day provides an opportunity "for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work, and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide". This year's theme set by the World Federation for Mental Health is suicide prevention.

1 in 4 people will suffer from a mental health problem at some point in their life. We should not be afraid to “talk about it".
