Construction works have been taking place on sections of Springfield Drive between Storey Building and Elizabeth Newton Building at Springfield University Hospital over the past year.
These roadworks have now been completed and pedestrian access through the site has been restored.
Diversions previously in place through Elizabeth Newton Building are now no longer in operation and visitors to Springfield are once again encouraged to use the main access road to travel across the site.
As construction works progress, the Trust’s Estate Modernisation Programme (EMP) team continue to liaise with wards, staff, patients and service users and our community partners to help manage and minimise disruption wherever possible.
