Springfield moves: Join our patient and carer webinars to find out more

Springfield moves: Join our patient and carer webinars to find out more

This autumn our Trust will be moving into two brand new mental health facilities at Springfield University Hospital in Wandsworth.

Ahead of this we are inviting patients, carers and their families and friends to join our project teams to find out more about the upcoming move process.

Named Shaftesbury and Trinity, these buildings will be home to eight existing inpatient wards and a range of our Community and non-clinical teams.

Designed in partnership with staff, carers, patients and service users, they will provide outstanding environments to support care and recovery for people across South West London.

Join our webinars

We are mindful that change may be daunting, but our teams will be on hand to support our patients at every stage to ensure the transition to our new buildings happens with minimal disruption.

In the coming weeks we will be hosting two one-hour online meetings (webinars) providing an opportunity for patients, carers, families and friends to find out more about the upcoming moves at Springfield and ask our teams any questions.

These will take place as follows:

We recommend joining 10 minutes ahead of time and downloading Microsoft Teams to ensure ease of access. You can find guidance on joining a Teams meeting here and on joining without a Microsoft Teams account here.

You can find out more information about the development of Springfield Village here and more information about our move plans here.

Please email us at
EstateModernisation@swlstg.nhs.uk if you have any access requirements or if you would like to attend one of these webinars in person and we will be happy to arrange a screening at Springfield Hospital.
