Trust introduces new communication technology for the Deaf community

South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust (SWLSTG) is introducing an innovative new video relay service (VRS) that offers Deaf and hard of hearing people an accessible option to communicate with hearing  staff over the phone by using British Sign Language (BSL).

VRS enables Deaf people, just like other people, to be able to call the Trust on the phone using BSL interpreters, for services, information and direction.

How to access the service

Register

  • On a computer - use https://signlive.co.uk/login/ to register using Facebook, Google or email
  • On phone/ Ipad or tablet - download SignLive’s app for free and register

Once you are registered, you will have access to the community directory and you will be able to call the Trust for free.

Please note:

  • Data usage might apply depending on your network,
  • All calls will only be put through to the Trust.
