Kingston Crisis and Home Treatment Team

Who we are

The Kingston Crisis and Home Treatment Team (KCHTT) provides treatment to patients in an acute crisis in their own home as an alternative to hospital admission. Our team also works closely with Lilacs ward to allow early discharge from hospital.

Monday - Sunay: 8.30am - 10.30pm

Night shift: 10.00pm - 9.00am

What you can expect

Everyone who uses our services first gets an assessment of their mental health needs and a plan of the care and support they will receive, and offered an appointment at our physical health clinic.

Referrals

Referrals usually come from Community Mental Health Teams, Psychiatric Liaison services, Kingston & Richmond Assessment Team and inpatient wards. We also accept referrals from GP’s out of usual working hours (Mon-Fri 17:00-09:00, Sat & Sun 24hrs) by phone at 020 3513 5000

Patients who have previously used the service may be able to self-refer, if discharge was within two weeks prior to the self-referral. Please email: kingstonHTT@swlstg.nhs.uk
