Who we are
We are the Single Point of Access for referrals to secondary mental health services for patients living in Kingston and Richmond. We screen, triage and carry out initial assessments for patients referred to the Kingston and Richmond Recovery Support Teams, The Kingston and Richmond Early Intervention, Adult ADHD Teams, The Kingston and Richmond Older People RST and Memory Service.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but, due to the current national issues relating to the Corona Virus some appointments already scheduled as face to face assessments may, at the last minute be changed to a telephone appointment.
We will always endeavor to ensure as much notice as possible is given.

Support for service users and carers outside of these hours is accessed via borough-based protocols with the Crisis and Home Treatment Teams.

What you can expect
The Kingston and Richmond Assessment Team screen, triage and carry out initial assessments for patients referred to the Kingston and Richmond Recovery Support Teams, The Kingston and Richmond Early Intervention, Adult ADHD Teams, The Kingston and Richmond Older People RST and Memory Service.
Most referrals are made by GPs, social workers and self referral by clients or their families.Our duty CPN(s) screens all referrals and endeavours to make contact with each patient as soon as possible. Where relevant routine or urgent face to face assessments will be conducted
