Lavender ward
Who we are
Lavender Ward is a 22-bed In-patient Treatment Unit for adults experiencing an episode of acute mental illness and other related disorders.
The Team recognises that treatment, and particularly admission to hospital, can be anxiety provoking. It is often a time when patients are given lots of information and at a time when it’s not always easy to take in

The multi-disciplinary team at the weekly ward round will review patients’ progress. The Team Consultants carry the clinical responsibility for the treatment of all patients and usually attend the care reviews on a weekly basis. You will have a named nurse who will be working with you from the time you get admitted until you are discharged. You will be meeting with them at least once weekly to discuss your care and progress.
