Lilacs ward is a 23-bed mixed gender, adult acute mental health ward. It serves Kingston borough.

This service is for adults aged 18-70 who live in Kingston or who have a Kingston GP.

Visiting Times:

 4:00pm - 5:00pm and 6:00pm - 8:00pm (Mon to Fri)
 2:00pm - 5:00pm and 6:00pm - 8:00pm (Weekends Only)

What you can expect

Anyone who uses our services first gets an assessment of their mental health needs and a plan of the care and support they will receive. They will also will also have one named person who co-ordinates their care and support. This person will be called either a named professional or, if your needs are more complex,  a care co-ordinator. This person should be your main point of contact.  You can speak to them about how your treatment and support are going.


Patient referrals come through the Kingston Crisis and Home Treatment Team. However, to arrange a family/friend/carers meeting, please contact the ward on the numbers provided.
