What you can expect
The SUN is operational between 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
The group programme comprises nine support groups weekly across three areas Wandsworth, Sutton & Merton, and Kingston & Richmond. All SUN groups take place across the five SW London boroughs in community venues.
There is no formal assessment process. However, membership is dependent on the completion of a Crisis and Support Plan (CASP) which takes place at the first meeting with support from other group members and facilitators. All work is carried out in the groups, and there is no care coordination or any One to One appointments.
Member are expected to be supportive of the groups, their fellow members and the facilitators. Unsupportive members may be asked to take time out from attending the groups to reflect on their unsupportive behavior.
Members are free to use the groups when it suits them, and there is no limit to the length of time people stay in the SUN.
